District 5 Councilmember Angie Jimenez has Failed South Montebello!
Montebello City Councilmember Angie Jimenez is repeatedly absent from city council meetings and important votes for South Montebello, including a police contract critical to public safety.
She is in support of giving her political friends a waste transfer station in South Montebello that would turn our community into a trash dumping ground by voting in favor of the item.
She voted against reinstating the Traffic and Safety Commission despite public outcry.
She voted against the 2024-2025 Fiscal Budget that allocates more than $45 million in funding for Police and Fire Department operations and services, including wages benefits, new positions, and resources vital to protecting our community.
She consistently disregards residents’ requests for help and regularly attacks constituents in her own district.
She is currently under investigation for harassing city employees and creating a hostile work environment in City Hall.
Councilmember Angie Jimenez has failed to prioritize the safety and needs of District 5 residents. South Montebello cannot continue to be neglected; our families and community are at risk and deserve better representation.
